Students should being their daily journals
Journals: Each week day students will spend time writing. I want students to access their Office 360 account and begin their writing. Title this file as your journal and keep adding to it each day. Each entry must be dated and have a minimum of 6 sentences. Students should make sure they are correcting errors. Periodically, I will have them send it to me so I can read them. (You can take a break over the weekends, but I would encourage you not to do so.) You can write about what you did during the day, thoughts, concerns, prayers, original poems or essays. I want to keep you writing and expressing yourself. You may add color or design, just like you do when you are Praying in Color. You may want to create a devotion or maybe respond to what you have been reading or even reflecting on scripture. This is part of the daily assignments and is pretty open to individual interests and thoughts. So EVERY WEEK DAY you will journal. If you want you could hand-write your journal entries and keep notebook of them.
Shurley English: Chapter 9 Lesson 3. Read pages 274-276. Complete CP 41. The Journal Writing Enrichment on page 276 could be used in your journal writing today if you choose.
Literature: Finish Webquest for Mildred Taylor. Finish Devil’s Arithmetic. Tomorrow (Friday) we begin reading Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
