Dear parents,
Tuesday, March 3, Trinity will host the Lutheran school's East Side Music Festival. We have two choirs and one band performing. Grades 5-8 are participating.
The choirs and band will be wearing white shirts and black pants/skirts, black shoes. Boys - ties would be awesome, but not required.
The way we look and present ourselves can affect our scores, even before we sing.
We are aiming for 1's (Superiors) again this year! Obviously though I just want the kids to do their best. Effort, performance, concert ettiquette, and participation will all factor into their grade.
I have "incentivized" the choirs with the promise of cake if we get a 1 rating. :)
If your schedule allows, we'd love to have parents, grandparents, etc. there.
5/6 choir at 9:30am (Church)
7/8 choir at 10:00am (Church)
Band at 10:30am (Gym)
We are also doing a choir rehearsal Friday, Feb. 28 from 10 to 11 am in the church if that works better for your schedule to come and listen.
